hey hey!

new to the site, but I've been doing this kind of roleplay since highschool, where me and some fellow nerdfriends would pass a piece of paper back and forth to roleplay on

I got super into D&D a few years ago and I do still participate in weekly games, but my schedule is pretty inconsistent
I've been wanting to do more D&D-style roleplay, so literally today I randomly decided to google "text-based D&D" and a couple Reddit posts later I found y'all

I figure a place like this might be more my speed, so we'll see!

Welcome!  This site has been 'scratching the itch' for me, gaming-wise, for about a decade and a half, now...I used to be part of a gaming group that met once a week, like clockwork, for a decade or so (occasionally, parts of the group were meeting more often than that!)  Then I got a job in another city and moved an hour away...and then gas prices started going up so much that I couldn't afford to drive an hour each way once a week just for fun, and eventually I lost the habit of gaming.

And then one of those friends contacted me (back in the MySpace days!) and said he was starting a game on here and would I be interested?

Been here ever since...

best site out there..nice  clean..everything you need on one page. whether its you home page, or when you go into a game.

 have fun..don't be afraid to ask  questions , someone will have an answer

I started online in the Yahoo Chat room days.  But been here over 15 + years.  I love it and hope you will too.  Some things to do is read ALL the site rules so you know what is the right and wrong thing to do.

A few tips is the user friendly Search that’s on your front page.  Pretty easy to use to look for a game.

Next is the WANTED:  Games Forum and the WANTED:  GMs Forum

If you can’t find an ad for a game you like (there is a search on each forum and pages of adds)  so if you don’t find an ad for the type of game you are looking for in WANTED: Games then post what you want in WANTED: GNS Stating you specific needs in a game.  I am sure a GM will be willing to help you.

One very important rule is NEVER create a second or more site login!!  Taboo!

And if you enter into a game but wish to leave please let that GM Politely know you are leaving the game.  Don’t just disappear as that is rude.  When RTJing (request to join) give a few days fir the GM to get back to you.  Not everyone can get on here daily.

*cough*  We don't have a WANTED: Games Forum... that would fall under WANTED: GMs.  :)

So sorry to be confusing!  Indeed its WANTED: Players if you can’t find what you are lokking for then go to WANTED: GMs and post what you are looking for there so a GM can see what your interests are.
