I haven't been on an authentic forum since I was about 16; and that was back in 2006. I was diagnosed with cancer a couple of years ago and it awarded me enough spare time to try and reingratiate myself in prose, fantasy, story-telling and acting.

Of course, that all being said I haven't actually tried roleplaying on a forum again until now. I actually started roleplaying at age 8, back in the earliest days of Blizzard.net, from there I went through Neopets, Avidgamers, Zetaboards/Invisionfree, MSN, Yahoo, and I finally quit after the Military/Organization boards on Gaiaonline collapsed.

Which makes my main character AlchemY a hair older than Google. Well, I guess that'll be: the Rev. AlchemY, from now on.

Anyway, I'm 31; Male and reside in the Mid-West U.S.

Welcome to the site! There are system-based games and freeform games in basically every flavor.

well? you came  to the best site out there.

everythign is on your main page. when you play in a game, or   run a game, everythig is on the game page, PMs , sicw rolled CS  ect ect

 the main board will hold the  games  you run. and play in..there is a 'players wanted  thread"

  You can also search  for  games  with search  engine in the middle of the main page, and customize your search... its takes a bit of tweaking , but you'll like that it lists all the games in the catagory you picked.

 check the froum thread titles. You can ask  questions there..som e one will have an answer.

Welcome to RPol and I pray your health is better.  As said above you can find anything practically here on this site including new friends.  The thing I like most is you only need to make one login.  Then you can play and/or run in as many games as you wish with as many characters you wish and don’t have to make a new login name for each.

Here’s to you finding many happy years with us,  writing and weaving stories with others is a wonderful enjoyment and to many its an escape into world(s) of creative writing with friends.  I wish you the best with finding your niche’ and the best thing you can do is read the rules and faqs thourghly.

Never be afraid to ask questions as you will find players are always willing to help.  We were all new to this site once and it is active and will be for a long time.
