Howdy, you ame to the best site out there... Main page has everything you need to look/check your games. The Game  menu  will have everything you need  , when you play.

 no jumping from thread to thread, to find  what you need.

 Colors  for 'speech', dice roller, CS  ect ect..its  all there.

 Check out  'player wanted threads'..you'll see tons  of  gamea in many  systems, including  home brews.

 there is  also a search  engine to check out games   buy filtering  genres  and such., Don't be afraid to ask questions, some one on this site will have an answer.

Welcome to RPOL! Which systems interest you? Freeform and various versions of D&D tend to be to most common games here, but a wide range of systems do get use here. Wanted - Players is the best way to get in on the start of a game, but if you’re looking for a particular system, consider browsing through the active games that are accepting new players. I’ve found some excellent games that way.

I'm interested in mostly fantasy systems like DnD or pathfinder but I do branch out into Call of Cthulhu and World of darkness

You're in luck, then! =) D&D and Pathfinder are both pretty popular around here, so you should be able to find some games. CoC and WoD games are less common, but they do pop up regularly, so you should be able to find those games as well, just not as many.

at the lower part of the main page  is a  'browse/search  engine, it is set up for you to filter  your serach for games, i used it a few times, but mostly just lok at the 'wanted   players' thread

Wanted - GMs is worth a shot as well. Not every post there results in games, but I’ve gotten two great games from posting there, one a GURPS XCOM game and another that allowed a GURPS-built Highlander-type character.
