Howdy,

I'm looking to do PBPRPGs. I've done play by post before but most of it was more freeform, playing in a Bleach PBP over a few years. No system, just writing. I also had a short stint doing a PBP game for FFG Star Wars taking place in the Clone Wars but that fell apart soon after I joined.

In person and online I've played plenty of RPGs: D&D, Fantasy Age, FFG Star Wars, Genesys, Prowlers and Paragons, Feng Shui 2, Cortex System, Aliens TTRPG, Wild Talents 2, Pugmire, Mouse guard, Lasers and Feelings, Ghost: Echo, Lady Blackbird, Ghostbusters, and probably more that I can't remember.

I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of games I can get into to scratch my creative itch.

hiya, welcome aboard, This is the site to be, everything  on the main page, tools to use as a player and GM ect ect.

 As far as Games, you'll find just about anything you want...some folks , like me have seni-freeform with  some rules..others are full-Freeform..Most games  are system based.

 cruise the 'players  wanted'  thread, GM  can bump thier games once a week if they are lookign for players.

Have fun, don't be afraid to ask questions, some one here will have an answer.

Hello and welcome to RPol, you'll find anything you want here and so many great games from freeform to about any system game you like.  It is easy to be a GM or a Player here.

A few tips for you are below:-

Make sure you turn on your rmail by going to the link at the top that is User preferences, there you will find some settings to play around with including the rmail one as that is how you and most GMs can talk.

On the main menu there are two forums you can find what you want to play in

Wanted: players At the top there is a link that is 'Search Games' and when you click on those words it gives you a more distinct search area for what you are looking for.

Wanted: GMs where you can make a post describing the type of games you are looking for and GMs check there for new players sometimes.

At the bottom of the main menu you will also find search link to find games and other good stuff.

So all I can say now is

Thank you both for the warm welcome. I've been looking at the players wanted section, I'm not sure how far back I should bother or if I should just stick to the first page.

 GMs can bump thier  game every 7 days..( there is a time  at the  top of  the game ad...that also has a link to the game )

 I bump mine very week.  I have been everywhere , from  page 2 to page 4 at the time of my  bumping.....using that as a barometer, i would say you would be able to go check out  that far back.

 also, As Lady said, the search game  allows you to pick genre, ect..and most important..those looking for players. ( when GMs  create  games, they an check the 'looking for players' box)

TaigiaX do not be gun shy, we have ALL been beginners and you are welcome.  Being new I might would go back a few of the Wanted Players threads to see what was on offer but active GMs usually post when they can the every 7 seven days rule.  After checking those then looking at it as a page one on a regular basis as you are looking for games should be just fine.

We are ALL friendly here or should be and you being new is not a hinderance.  Most work with new players any way we can. xx
