Awkward in a good way, ofc. I mean, look at this website is so nostalgic, I love it.

If you spare me a minute I will introduce my reasons to be here. I love RPing and I have a couple of DnD games on going, some in English some in Spanish (my native) and, I mean, they are nice. Kinda slowed because christmas but nice. My problem is that I am really shy when it comes to strangers in the English's ones and too friendly with my friends so the RP goes south every time. I mean, its funny, but its not really immersive. Also I tend to be more... creative and RPer when I write.

I could go for hours talking about myself, so I will try to stay on topic from now. I played mostly DnD 5th edition or similar, recently I read Anima and it is perfect, perfectly complicated also. I started playing like 5 months ago but I always wanted to. So little experience, lot of blabbering.

Hope I figure how to navigate this website and beat my shyness to go take a look at the chat. <3

howdy!..start with 'players wanted'..you may find games  you have interest in...GMs are able to  bump thier ads every week, so there are  always new ads lighting up

Heya there and welcome to RPol, you'll find anything you want here and so many great games from freeform to about any system game you like.  Your choices are vast and varied.

It always seems awkward to anyone new to any board.  You are not alone and are very welcome here.  Your use of the English language/writing is brilliant and you have nothing to feel awkward about.

Most GMs only check those ad threads once a week or even less for some so you will get sadly missed.  Either clicking on the game link or rmailing them is the best way to let them know you are interested. :)

A few tips for you are below:-

Make sure you turn on your rmail by going to the link at the top that is User preferences, there you will find some settings to play around with including the rmail one as that is how you and most GMs can talk.

On the main menu there are two forums you can find what you want to play in

Wanted: players At the top there is a link that is 'Search Games' and when you click on those words it gives you a more distinct search area for what you are looking for.

Wanted: GMs where you can make a post describing the type of games you are looking for and GMs check there for new players sometimes.

At the bottom of the main menu you will also find search link to find games and other good stuff.
