Venice is in turmoil. Deep in the night- shadows have crept into some of the most secure areas of the city. The Doge is dead as well as a member of the Senatus (Bragadin), the High Seat of the Council of 10, and all six Caposestire (Governors of the Districts of Venice- one of which was the High Seat) What is rapidly being called "The Night of Blood" the politics of Venice have become a race to grasp power, maintain power, forge alliances, and destroy enemies.The game will open with players- who are in game receiving news about the events of the evening. From there it is a question about how you choose to take advantage of or react to the situation.

[*] You can be the heir to the Caposestire (Governorship) suddenly thrust into power.
[*] You can organize your fellow family members to take control of a new district in Venice giving your family more power.
[*] You can be a Merchant maneuvering to become a Noble in Venice society by seeking out the secrets of your peers and Nobles and feeding it to the Council of 10.
[*] You can be a citizen of Venice caught up in the society's struggle.
[*] You can be a Foreign Merchant in Venice trying to get the best deal thus obtaining more power.
[*] You can be a Courtesan using sexual intrigue to wrestle secrets for a patron or the Council of 10.
