There are many things about Ciara that remain a mystery, even to herself.  Her eyes are as large and dark as any selkie maid and just as deep with longing for home.  When not braided, her rich brown hair hangs in a tumble of waves to her waist and accentuates the rosy hues of her sun-kissed skin.  She is of middling height, standing at five feet and six, and is slender without being overly thin.  Though her true age cannot be ascertained, she looks to be in her late twenties.  While her speech and countenance are both genteel, her clothing is well out of fashion, worn solely for the purposes of modesty and practicality. Her past remains unknown, but her accent is unmistakably Irish.  She speaks English well, but is prone to slip into Gaelic without noticing.
