Christian Neville
The aptly named Christian Neville is the second son of a very wealthy merchant. As he is not in line to inherit the business, his father sent him to the seminary in the hope that he would prosper as a Protestant preacher, perhaps even a bishop.
Christian, like many young men, was interested in the glory of the military, and hoped to fight the good fight on the battlefield as well as in the pulpit.
Having achieved a Lieutenancy in the Royal Marines, he now hopes to gain the position of Regimental Chaplain.
Though he is competent with a sword, he is uncomfortable with killing, and will avoid fights to the death whenever possible.
