I have a questions about groups, in the old site I could go to cast and see who is in what groups, I have a HUGE group, ( many multi adventures) and I have a hard time of seeing who I have put in what group is there something I am missing to view this, or a place I can look my one brain cell learning something new can look ? I appreciate any help.

Move your tool tip over each cast member to see what groups they are in...but this only works for GMs. Players no longer get to see what groups other players are in.

You can use the cast list but I'd really recommend using the GM screen to do that, no idea why you'd want to use the cast list in either format when you've got a lovely grid available in the GM screen (or a small text-input style if you'd prefer it that way).

But wait, there's more (no steak knives though).  Not only is it easier to see what you want without any clutter it also lets you make any changes.

Habit. It's what we're used to from the old system. And it doesn't have all the blank boxes between ticked boxes. it can actually be easier to see just 3 groups than, say 7, only 3 of which apply.

Well, that's why I do it, anyhow.

At the bottom of the group membership screen is a switch between thin and wide.  Try thin if that's your thing.

Thanks, nice to know. But muscle memory will likely still take me to Cast, I'm afraid.

66 days.  Average time to pick up a new habit.

So every time you catch yourself going into Cast, make yourself load the GM Menu | Edit Groups instead, and in around 2 months you should be doing it automatically.

I'll be working on it myself ... I keep loading Chat intead of Cast cos my muscle memory is pushing me to the top menu instead of the new sidebar !  ;P
