Is there one?  I mean aside from recreating the post in the other thread and deleting it from the previous thread?

Unless they've added something recently, best way is to go into editing mode for the post, copy it all so you get your formatting saved, and post it in the new thread. Fairly painless.

Until you decide you need/want to move a bunch* of posts from one thread to another for relevance/ease of finding/fixing where Players have posted...

* I know the title says "one" and the first post references this... but I actually needed to move 7 posts today from one thread to another and was hoping for an easier way... which exists in other forums I mod on, but not here.

Ah. Then I'm afraid you may be out of luck. Silver lining is if it's only 7, it shouldn't take that long if you have both threads open in separate tabs on your browser.

Edit or quote the post before you cut and paste - and you will be able to grab the formatting tags at the same time as the text.

Use two windows in your browser and , as they say, Bob's yer Uncle!
