I was wondering if there was a way to speed up access to games that are Adult rated? There is a freeform that is adult rated that I'd love to join as a way of expanding my gaming horizons.
However, as I am a pretty new member here to ROPL, I can't access that game. I am 28, so I'm not worried about the presumed need to verify my age, but it'd be nice to get into the game so that I can start playing as quickly as I could.

not that I know of, the GM, game master, chooses who joins and who doesn't, and sometimes they are really busy so they won't get back to the game until they have some free time.

If you are talking about the age verification process, then the two week waiting period for new site members before they can apply to Adult games is mandatory, and there is no way to avoid it.

Okay. Not trying to avoid it, but just speed things up. If there isn't a way, then it's not possible. :)

Afraid it's coded in, and not even the Mods can speed the process up.

Also "two weeks" was a deliberate choice aimed at reducing issues that we had seen prior to the automated system's introduction.

oh didn't realize he was that new, yeah you'll have to wait a bit, until then join a game that isn't adult rated.

However, it has become a bit less important as the character concept I had in mind for the game in question does not fit for the game. As such I have decided to withdraw from that game.
