the day today is the 21st but know my time stamp says it's the 22nd
is this a mistake from the creators? Or is it something else?

Probably something having to do with the downtime the site was experiencing.

The site takes all of it's date and time information from a user's own time zone setting.  If there is anything screwy with the displayed date, the first thing you should check is that.

In reply to bigbadron (msg # 3):

Does that mean I see other folk's preferred timezones too when they post something? I never noticed it before, but on wolfogoddess' post I do see

quote:
Fri 22 Apr 2016
at 14:13

And then the next two replies are

quote:
Thu 21 Apr 2016
at 18:56

and

quote:
Thu 21 Apr 2016
at 20:23

And since I know I haven't changed any of my settings in the past three months, it just seems funny. Guess I should pay more attention to such things... *heads off to find other contradictions in time!*

No, you see all post times converted to your own time zone.

Hmm... looks like there might have been a temporary glitch of some sort overnight (my overnight), but it looks like it had sorted itself out by the time nauthiz posted.
