If I want a private area just for myself, I see there is a scratch pad but it is limited.

Would I be better served just to make a thread that only I have access to? The easiest being group "U" since it is last on the list.

Yes, you can create private threads only you can see. I usually have several in each game I GM, perhaps one for NPC's, one for locations, etc. As long as you don't click Z for anyone, they cannot see it.

I usually use group Z for those private threads, since if anyone is causing enough disruption to warrant being locked out of other threads, I'd just remove them from the game.

Only you.
