I have a couple of problems with the following 'Easy' Table, and I just can't see what's wrong. Could someone with more familiarity take a look, please?

1. Why are Wednesday and Saturday dates wrapping, when the first column should be wide enough to accommodate them? Likewise why is the data in the Afternoon and Evening columns wrapping?

2. Why is Thursday sticking out at the side of Wednesday?

It helps if you try to keep everything lined up when composing the table, most times. If you've got a row that's going to have several empty lines in it, you can omit those -- when it reaches the end of a cell, it'll just fill in the rest with blanks if you left it out.

On Wednesday's row, leave the 'data' rows unaltered, so that they each get their own cells. That'll make the rest of them behave.

The table didn't know what to do when I got to the Thursday line, because everything else before that had been doubling up. That made it stick to the end, which increased the table width and forced word-wrap on the first column.

Try this version, see how it looks.

Yes, I'd been struggling with a 'keyhole' compose window before I figured out how to extend it, and by then, things were maybe not lining up properly.

Really, I wanted to remove the row line between 'modiste's shop' and 'markham library', but your version is a lot better than mine. At least with that mess missing from the side I might be able to work with it some more. You've shown me what's causing the problem, and that's what I really needed.
