Character sheet looks different for player and GM

I have a player in one of my games that asked for me to reset the character sheet formatting. To me his character sheet seems to line up perfectly. I had him post a screenshot and sure enough, the columns are not lining up in the image. He's tried some formatting code but it hasn't helped matter on his end.

I can post the screenshots if it is welcome, I just don't want to do so if that's not proper etiquette. I can also post the game link, again I'm not sure what's allowed and not on this board as I don't see a board rules thread like there are on other boards. What he's seeing and what I'm seeing are not the same.

Basically he's asking me to fix a formatting issue with his character sheet, but I don't know how because it looks fine to me. All I can do is enable variable width. But will that fix the problem? I don't think it will...

Re: Character sheet looks different for player and GM

You can not post a link to a game in this forum.  If posting screen shots, the game name in the header bar must be obscured.  This is covered in the Public Forums Rules, as listed in the FAQs: /help/?t=faqs&page=pfrules
quote:
Mention individual games only where appropriate.  Individual games may only be directly referred to, linked to, or mentioned in the appropriate advertising forums, and then only in keeping with the rules of those forums.

Re: Character sheet looks different for player and GM

Is this a public char sheet available on this web site so that we can access it?

Re: Character sheet looks different for player and GM

Are you using private lines or GM notes in the sheet?

If so make sure you're not closing any RuBB codes inside of them if they weren't started inside the same one in the first place, and if you do start some code inside a private section make sure its also closed within the same piece.

Re: Character sheet looks different for player and GM

Thank you for the help. I'm not sure what the problem was, but the player fixed in by altering their browser font settings. It seemed to have worked though. Thank you for the help anyway.

Could it be an issue with screen magnification? I have bad eyes, and I'm usually at 6+ myself.

Re: Character sheet looks different for player and GM

Almost certainly the player's browser was mapping a proportional font to a non-proportional font setting.  :>
