rpol tricks

Is there a way to make one post, and to the players have it look like a single post, when in fact what each person reads is tailored special to them?

IE have each person see something different without any one knowing that the others haven't seen the exact same thing?

Re: rpol tricks

/help/?t=help&page=post

Down towards the bottom are "types of private text"

The one Piestar refers to is the "Secret to" option which is only usable by the GM.

In reply to nauthiz (msg # 3):

Does that leave any sort of spacing? Show any signs of being used at all?

Re: rpol tricks

My apologies if I was unclear, I assumed he meant from the DM. Perhaps that was foolish of me.

As a DM however, I have to say I love the feature, using private alerts the players to the fact that they are seeing something the others aren't. This allows for a much more subtle dissemination of information to the players, and makes them think a bit more about what they need to share or keep to themselves.
