This is a rather amusing
and catchy profile quote!

Language Groups and the { } Function

So once upon a time, search me for when that was now (I'm only just getting around to bringing this up), when you used the language group option to send an "encoded" message in that language group to other people, you could force word recognition like it does with the word "the" by inserting the { } marks around the word you wanted to spoil like {THIS}.

Back then, it would spoil the word, it would have an orange underline, and that would be that. However, now when I do that, you ALSO see the { } marks and it's a bit off putting. Was this change intentional? Am I delusional in thinking that at one point it did that without showing those marks once you posted? Is there any talk of "fixing" said issue?

Thanks!

Re: Language Groups and the { } Function

First I've heard of the brackets hanging around I'm afraid.  I've spotted the error and will fix it shortly.

As for it not working at all, I'm not able to see any issue with its operation besides the aforementioned brackets not being removed.

Re: Language Groups and the { } Function

I might not be using it right then, but it's not working in the one game I've tried it in.

EDIT: sussed it. It doesn't work if the name has a space in it, ie {John Smith} won't work, only {John} or {JohnSmith}.

In reply to Tileira (msg # 4):

Yes, you have to bracket each word.  So in your example {John} {Smith}.
