Ok, so all of a sudden today, three differet times I have been told (by the coloring of the games) that there were new messages, or new private messages in a game..but there have been none. Now, normally, I would assume that they were messages that I simply couldn't see for one reason or another. Except for one problem: I am the Owner/Gm of the game. There should be no posts private or public, that I do not have access too....soo.....whats up? anyone else having this problem today?

Sure they're not private messages in the "Other Private Messages" section?

Positive...that was my thought as well, and I went and double checked 3-4 times...not a single unread/new message anywhere to be found in the game...and the notice stays until I click "Mark All Read"

Happens to me sometimes, especially if I'm going between computers/devices a lot that day and not logging out of each one, first.  The fastest way to clear that glitch is to click the "Mark all as read" at the top of the Private Messages page.  That should take care of the color tag.

yea...I go from one computer to another...(work and then home) but I've only ever had the little Flame/sword/whatever icon show up for messages/threads I've already seen. Never the Red/Blue/Purple color for the game on the main page...

*nods*  It's pretty darned rare, but like I said, the "mark all as read" will take care of it.  Drives you crazy wondering what you missed before that, though, especially if you have a bunch of PMs to dig through to make sure.

yea, that's what i did. Just clocked that...but not until after I spent 15-20 minutes searching, trying to find what i might have missed. Thought maybe someone had edited something...but only one other player has logged in so far today...so...weird...just figured I'd check to see if anyone else was having issues..

Use "Relog" if you ever swap computers/devices.

I've been wondering: what's the difference between logging out and back in again and using relog?  Is there a benefit to using one over the other in certain situations like this one?
