Using PCGen character sheets in RPOL

I've been trying for a while to figure out how to use a PCGen character sheet in RPOL (especially the htm file specifically made for rpol). Whenever I copy-and-paste them in (whether htm source code or txt), the tables look terrible or nothing lines up. Does anyone use PCGen character sheets for Pathfinder on RPOL or have tips for how I might better use them?

Re: Using PCGen character sheets in RPOL

Honestly the only times I have seen those character sheets work well was when someone just took a screen shot of it and then posted it like an image, other than that I face the same problem

Well at least now I know I'm not alone. Having thoroughly Googled on the subject and finding not a single other person having trouble with this I was beginning to think I was defective or something.

Re: Using PCGen character sheets in RPOL

You can try wrapping the whole thing in <tt > </ tt> tags to force monospace, but I'm not familiar with the format you're referring to. If you have an html version, perhaps you can open it in a browser window on its own and take the text from that instead of trying to paste the html directly into the RPOL window.

Keep in mind that rpol doesn't allow a lot of special formatting that might be inserted into the table tags.  You might have to strip things out formatting-wise to make it work.

Re: Using PCGen character sheets in RPOL

Haven't used PCGen in a very long time, and never tried the export for use on rpol.

After a brief experiment, I'm not having any substantive issues.  A bit of funkyness due to the way things are centered/not centered/etc within the tables.

Could you post an example of the issue you're having maybe?  Maybe a chunk of sheet that you think is not displaying correctly?
