When in doubt, DON’T ROLL
Outside of combat, please don’t roll unless I ask you to. Rolling with the hope that something will happen will not help you. The exception is in combat: roll whatever you want in combat, within reason.

HEROIC IN SPIRIT
Players in the game are expected to tend to "trend good" even though the alignment structure is classic BECMI Lawful-Neutral-Good. This DM is not interested in running a Game of Thrones adventure; the heroes of this story need to strive to be heroic.

COLLABORATIVE IN SPIRIT
Players are expected to cooperate in this game. Even when your characters are competing, the players need to figure out a way to get along. The DM will not tolerate players trying to railroad other players or one-upping one another. We're all mature adults here behind our characters; figure out a way of getting along.
