in games, i see that they have the all the charactors casted, some of the players are listed in blue, and can be clicked on and checked out, while others are blacked out and you cannot look at them. my question is, what's up with that? because one of the players in question is blacked out, though i know them to be active... is there some setting, or other that people can choose, so nobody can investigate your charactor?

your name only shows up as a blue link if you've created a readable description for the character.  If not, no link.
