Color wierdness... I had a red color scheme... then it suddenly changed to green.  I go to preferences and click on red and update and it says updated, but still green and the field listing the color stays at green.

Anyone else having a problem?

EDIT: to be more specific, the site has color themes on certain days of the year that override basic settings.

It will go wonky again on you come April Fools Day...I'm not sure how many others there are (I used to, but my mind is getting too cluttered with trivial details lately...)

Is there a way to disable the color scheme? I'm having troubles reading the site. Had no such troubles with the black scheme I was using.

Edit: Figured it out. You can make a custom theme, but pull the colors from the theme you were previously using. The custom theme will override the holiday theme. Hopefully this helps others for whom the green was making it difficult to read.

St Patricks Day, April 1st, and Christmas.  So three days per year.

I loaded default colors, saved them as custom colors, and have not had this problem in years.

But wehn doing so how do you get the post boxes to look 'right'?

I like the look of the black background in all things except the black marble wallpaper... except when grabbing the black default colors and then applying them to a custom setting, the post boxes turn slate grey instead of black.

I'm not sure, but my guess is don't hit Create until you apply the necessary changes of color to get yours right after grabbing the black one.

Since April Fool's Day, the colors will not work correctly on the display settings anymore.  They still show as weird random things different than what is selected.
