Quick Question About Ratings

I'm thinking about running a game featuring a production company that only produces 'bad movies'. Would pulling a 'Basic Instinct Leg Cross'* make the game Mature, Adult, or would it depend on the level of depiction/vulgarity of the language used?

*Googling may lead to a brain bleach requirement depending on your sexuality. It's also NSFW.

Re: Quick Question About Ratings

Pretty much depends on the description.

Re: Quick Question About Ratings

"She pulled a Basic Instinct leg cross" is probably fine for General.

A description which explains what that is should be fine for Mature.

**The Mature flag doesn't exactly allow higher content: it warns players and visitors that the content may cause some offence or discomfort. Technically all Mature content should be suitable for General games, but the M flag marks the game as containing more frequent instances of mature content.
quote:
Mature games are games which have (as some minor portion of them) mature themes, strong language, drug use, and/or extensive violence.  Mature games use the Mature Content flag to warn potential readers that some of the game material may be considered offensive.  Despite this flag, Mature Games must remain suitable to all ages.

A description which goes into *deep* detail of what the characters see needs to be Adult.
quote:
Adult games are games which have as part of their content graphic sex or graphic and gratuitous violence.

If it's a production company focusing on bad horror movies, then I would suggest M if it's meant to be a bit tongue-in-cheek and above-the-waist or A if violence and sex will be graphically described instead of briefly described.
