Chart about game systems

Hi guys,
is there a chart or statistic that shows how many games from a certain system are being played or have been played?

No, there isn't.  We don't keep track of those sort of statistics.

Re: Chart about game systems

You mean like, "Which system are you using?  Please select from the several hundred or so listed below."  :)

Which system is popular is pretty irrelevant to a lot of people - they're only interested in the systems that they like/have experience with.

Re: Chart about game systems

I am a weirdo. I am willing to learn new systems as time permits, but yes I lean toward what I already now. Why not make a poll about things like recommended systems for certain game types?

In reply to Merevel (msg # 5):

Why not just look at the games being advertised? That will give you a flavour for the systems being used.

Re: Chart about game systems

There are loads of sites out there with statistics about what games are popular in relation to people talking about them or buying them. Largely, I'd suspect a similar result here; except here's got more freeform than is usually talked about (freeform is either a love it or hate it thing I've found); and maybe there's a bit more of a use for older systems now out of print.
