BESM - Power Flux and Item interaction
I have a rules questions I'd like to ask of those of you who feel you've got a good handle on the subject. I haven't been able to decide on a ruling.
Consider the following:
1. Power Flux gives you a set of reserve character points you can allocate at will.
2. Items reduce the cost of their subservient attributes by half.
3. Power Flux allows you to add points to existing attributes.
Given the above facts, how do you feel about the following situation:
A character has Power Flux - Major (Toys), and a toy gun Item that shoots suction cup darts. If she used 4 Flux Points to increase the Weapon attribute of her Item, would she be able to increase the Weapon attribute by 2 (the normal cost) or 4 (the reduced cost for being contained in an Item)?
