PTU question

can someone explain ptu's fall damage rules to me? Gravity and fall speed is not affected by weight, merely drag. And drag only affects it for so long(max falling speed is max falling speed).

Why do heavier characters have a faster growing fall dm?
even if that was logical, shouldn't fall damage cap at the same amount?

Not quite no. I'm sorry it won't help you for your game specifically, but in GURPS, HP is related to mass in accordance with the Square Cubed Law, and fall damage is a ratio of HP. This makes fall damage the same relative amount, and that's basically how it happens.

Re: PTU question

Only thing I know about fall damage is real world physics. and wow, dm is a ratio of max hp and fall speed.

Just wondering where the writers are coming from for their fall damage chart. for all I know it makes perfect sense. I think defense reduces fall damage. If heavier pokemon tend to have higher physical defense, then that clarifies the difference in the damage dice a little.
