Welcome, this is an advertisement for the Pursued Play by Post. It is a moderated freeform rpg where players take the roles of Pursued. It's post apocalyptic with a survival flair. Here is the introduction:

Creatures called the Pursuers appeared and destroyed the world we know. What is left is remnants and survivors. But the creatures keep coming back, following those known as Pursued.

This is an account of what happened the day the Pursuers appeared. The day the modern world ended. January 1st, 2016.

Grey clouds descended from the sky all over the world. In the East Coast of the United States storm warnings were issued and many people hid in their shelters. The clouds covered various stretches off land and began to swirl, bulge and below. A short time after they formed they crackled and flashed as lightning discharged deep within the grey, revealing dark shapes and forms which contorted in the bowels of smoke.

The lightning flashed more and more, screams and screeches seemed to echo over the land from somewhere far away. But after a short time things began to come out, legs and heads, bellies and arms, tails, wings, teeth, claws, and incomprehensible horrors. From the flashing grey smoke these creatures anchored themselves to the world and when the clouds receded, tendrils of smoke dragging over their carapaces, the creatures remained. And where they walked the ground shook, the skies were deafened with their screams, and what trailed behind them was utter destruction.

And then they left. But their destruction remained. When the survivors left their shelters and saw the clouds begin to form again, dipping down from the sky, they knew the destruction had not ended. They fled, some escaped, ignored by the creatures, but others were not as lucky. These are the Pursued, ever running, ever being chased by horrors from beyond the world, hated, shunned. The Pursued are marked, in what way they cannot see, but others know, they see the shadows which follow the Pursued. This is the nature of their new lives, to never be able to live in peace, to never be safe, to always know what follows just behind them.
