Thousands of years ago, a scouting party made up of Amazon women, their servants and beasts of burden went out on a search for new territory. While traveling, they passed through a rare doorway into a parallel universe. Surprised, to say the least, and unable to return to their home, the tribe did the only thing they could do - they went on living. In doing so, they created a wondrous new life.

In order to carve out a territory for themselves, the women made war with the indigenous peoples, intermarried with them and made treaties with them, eventually becoming the dominant culture. While on Earth their culture died out and became the stuff of legend, the Yamari (as they now called themselves), that ancient society of women-warriors, continued strong.

As the centuries have gone by, great strides have been made in science and technology but the society's culture and beliefs remain much as they were in the Empire's beginnings.

In this game, gender roles are flip-flopped. Women are dominant and men are considered the "weaker sex." The idea is not to humiliate or harm anyone but to have fun and see some good writings with the role-reversal.
