The
USS Tranquility is a nova-based roleplay set in the Star Trek universe! We are writers collaborating to bring the story of
Tranquility to life, and proud members of Obsidian Fleet. As of this posting, the game is just beginning! We are looking for a core of passionate writers, and are hoping to find friends who are more excited by good storytelling than by striking graphics. We hope to have those eventually too!
Tranquility is a Diplomatic Courier. Built during a time of war, it was given its name in defiance of an uncertain future. With a skeleton crew, the ship was lost and presumed destroyed. After the Dominion War ended, the story of
Tranquility and her crew become yet another tragic casualty of the conflict. For the almost two full decades, the hull of the starship slept undisturbed in the soil, its identity being slowly wiped away by the encroaching wildlife. It would come to be discovered, excavated, and restored to new life by personnel who would one day comprise her crew.
Tranquility values storytelling, and the journey's of the characters we write. The choices and actions of players is what drives the evolution of the setting, and defines the character of the
USS Tranquility itself.
