Novus Utum is a Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 chat-based game utilizing its own custom character database and a unique and interesting setting. Currently still in its Beta phase, this is an excellent place to play some D&D - players are allowed to start with up to two eighth level characters and a fourth-level character, so no grinding through the low levels unless you'd prefer to.
