Hello!  This is an advertisement for an RPG website called The Wold!  My name is DM_Donna and I've been asked to tell you all about the website...so I've ripped off the Welcome Letter that the Campaign DM usually sends out:

We are THE WOLD...a website whose RPGs use the Pathfinder system with some House Rules--we have openings for Level 5 through 10 characters.

Originating as a tabletop campaign in the early 1980's, The Wold went online in 1997. It began as a humble Play-by-Post game on AOL and has since evolved into a very large independent website with several hundred pages of campaign information in its very own wiki--the "Woldipedia."

We currently offer 9 permanent ongoing games and a variety of pickup games for those members who want more. There are a surprising number of women playing with us. Play by post occurs on our self-made java-programmed message boards with their own dice mechanisms, and auto-archiving features.

The Wold is here to stay! We are not one of those games or sites that will disappear just as you are getting interested in the game and your character. So if you've been looking for that quality game that does not go away, we're your site!

And--just to be absolutely clear--here are a few more facts--

The Wold is rated:
G for romance/sex
PG for language
PG-13 for violence
R for thoughtful grappling with ethical dilemmas

The above ratings reflect the fact that The Wold is, first and foremost, a family-friendly site.

The Wold uses Core Pathfinder only along with a special sprinkling of some House Rules.

ALL PCs must be of Good alignment, and the Campaign DM who owns the site does not allow Oriental weapons and/or ninjas.
