Inspired by television shows such as "Fringe", "Heroes" and "Alphas", THE INCIDENT takes place in a world forever changed by a mysterious explosion of blue light which occurred in New York City. Whilst many of the city's inhabitants and visitors escape unharmed, you are one of a small number to gain strange, superhuman abilities from the experience.

Recruited by a covert government agency named M.O.N.A.R.C.H.Y, you are forced to aid them in capturing other superhumans like yourself before they can harm the public, and in tracking down the mysterious terrorist organization believed to be responsible for the explosion... a group which calls itself The Light.

But there are many things which the M.O.N.A.R.C.H.Y are not telling you. Why were only certain people affected by the explosion? How did they find you so quickly? Who are The Light? And, more importantly... if it wasn't the New York City explosion, then just what is The Incident?
