The Bus Stop Lunchroom across the street
Sally opened her lunchbox. She took out her gluten free sandwich with fatfree soycheese, dairy gave her the runs and being dependent on diapers, with the lower part of her body being paralyzed after having been scooped up by a drunk driver, dairy products were a no go. Bottled water and half a cucumber completed her lunch. She might be in a wheelchair, she thought, but she wasn't going to be fat and in a wheelchair. And with three dozen food allergies her choices were limited anyway. No dairy, no gluten, no sugar, mustard, eggs, no strawberries, cherries, bananas or citruses, shellfish or squid, no peanuts, walnuts, pine nuts, coconuts, pecan and pistachios. Sally always kept two filled epipens and her astma inhaler within arm's reach.
Lucas had a delectible variety of delicatessen to choose from.
