Rosewood breaths in the sweet air of the Faerie.  He may be in the wrong court but still this reminds him of his library and the place he called home until not long ago.
He looks around though his Fairy Dust Filled eyes.  Letting his wings flap once.  So the fairy dust can run along it's edges.  He did this simple act to show the Fae.  The essences of The Faerie he was not the same fairy that had left not so long ago.

He looks around to see what will happen.  His trust in the Ambassador non-existent.

The area around you looks to be a forest freshly dusted with snow.  holly berries brighten the darkness of the wood. In the distance you can see an ice troll moving slowly, and an assortment of winged fey are flitting from branch to branch, many smaller than the average pixie.

Rosewood is in the one place in the universe he does not wish to be ever.  Inside he is shaking.  Outside he is as calm as the darkness that now has enveloped him.

Seeing the faerie in a tiny coach Rosewood Curiosity gets the better of him.  He turns and looks at the Ambassador and shrugs his shoulders.  He opens his mouth to speak then decides it is pointless.  In his eyes she was just another Leprechaun but a very big jumped up pain in bum of a one.

He then fly's down to the coach to see what is going on and what sort of trap the winter court and the  Ambassador has laid on for him.  The Winter court could never be trusted.  He also new he would never gain peace in his life now.  Dilandua had been played by the Ambassador and she was one of their own.  That told him everything he needed to know about his situation.

Rosewood flys over to land before the thrown and Queen Mab.

Well Lady Hriw's ris.  That explains a lot of things.  You never did answer any of my questions.
Rosewood gives himself the freedom to chuckle to himself.  It also give him the courage to speak boldly.  For had he not had the queen of the winter court in his hands.  Not something many fairies could say.
Not that he thought he could ever do anything to really harm her.  But he had not known that.

You have looked into my soul then.  To see the nature of who and what I am.
You have seen I do not belong in your court.  Or will except myself to be in your debt.
But also you know I do not hold you or your court in any ill will.
I have never seeked dominion over others but I may have to take that responsibility.

However that aside.  I am here to ask that you would tell your court to leave the Guild I am working for alone.
Ask them to stop coursing humans and half-breeds to fight.   What has happened between The guild and one of your court has come to light.  The guild now sees and think this court has declared war on it.

I know your court is more powerful than the guild but they have nothing to lose.  And human pride is something even The Fay cannot destroy.  I am sure you would win but what do you gain?

The possibility of some fay dieing to their iron.  But also the possibility of the fight growing.  Other groups of humans joining in for the glory of a war with the fay.   With other groups of human will come even more fay deaths?  To what end?

Rosewood look very unsure.

Well.  I can only tell you what I seen and what I was told.  The truth may be more complicated because a lot deception has been used on me and the people around me.
He looks over at the Ambrosia Nocturne not sure if she is to be trusted at all.

It seems that a group of humans disliked the half fay and the creatures that are connected to the fay.  These fay live in the mortal world and try to live in peace.  The stupid humans where not the very brightest of people and just made a lot of noise about fay.  Nobody cared about them.  They were not really a problem.
A Fay named Maudwyn the Frost elf notice these humans.  She too did not like the half-fay.  So she pretended to be a human.  Making herself to look like a pretty female.  With honey coated words laced with poison she got the stupid humans to start attacking and trying to kill the half fay.  Getting more and more humans to join the group.
It was then that my group of friends where ask by the guild to look into this.
After much confusion, some mistakes on our part and some battles where fort.  We where force to kill some of the humans as they where to stupid to see they where being used by the very creature they disliked.  This is also how I ended up with my black eyes.  Anyway we found that Maudwyn the Frost elf  was directly behind the attacks.

Again he turned to look at the Ambrosia Nocturne then back.
I may have misunderstood but seem the Ambrosia Nocturne was aware of this.  The group I was with returned to the guild with Maudwyn the Frost elf to explain what had happened.  The guild pointed out that if that we found was so it was like the winter court or at least a member of it had declared war on the guild and the half fay they where friends with.  At this point both Ambrosia Nocturne and Dilandua got involved but I not sure what they were doing or why.  Anyway I stepped in as I could see this could lead to the guild declaring war on the winter court as one of it's people had attack them.  It was looking like she was going to get away with it for free.

Looking Mab full in the face.
I stress I do not know the full or true picture but it clear from what I witness that Maudwyn the Frost elf plotted to make humans kill the half-fay and other fay like creatures in human lands.  That she thinks she able to get away with this.  Making the human feel they need to attack the winter court because they had been attacked first by her.
They would like some sort of justice and a sign or understanding that this is not a plot by the winter court to attack them and make war on the guild, the fay they look after and humans in general.

I think you know I am a trustfully fay but you are free to use magic on me to prove I am not lying.
If others where helping her I do not know as I only saw Maudwyn in the hideout.  The humans only referred to one person as the focus of their group.

Rosewood then adds.
Then I was right that Maudwyn the Frost elf actions where not done in the name of the winter court and it Queen?  That we can find an answer to this that can make humans feel they are at peace with the winter court and the demifey can keep their trust in the Winter court and it's Queen.

Lady Hriw's ris, Queen Mab.
This is Anita Drake.  A skilled human fighter who has taken up the quest to help the half fay tht was offered by the guild.  She is currently leader of our group.  The  groups first leader unable to carry on the work.  It is through her I hope we can convince the guild and humans that the winter court was not behind what has happened.

We also have Gordab who is a fine musician.  If I remember correctly he has suffered from the attacks that Maudwyn the Frost elf orchestrated against the half fay.  If I am wrong I know he has a better understand of what Maudwyn got the pure humans to do to the half fay.  He has lived in the area for some time.  I myself an new to the human town.  He has also been kind enough to lend his strength when we need it to fight the humans manipulated by Maudwyn.  Which enabled me to enter their hideout and find the truth.

He turns to Anita and Gordab.
This is Queen Mab ruler of the Winter Court.  I am putting before her what has happened.  Hoping she will act in a way that will stop any more fighting and bloodshed between humans, fay and half fay.

Rosewood turns and face Mab.  Waiting for her to speak now he has made the introductions he thought he should.
One part of his mind says "Rosewood what are you doing.  This is not a library and there are no books here.  Run away and hide.   Another part says.  No but if we can just keep it together we may just own a library and all it's books."  So with all his strength the little fairy does his best to keep it together.

Rosewood shuddered at his own thoughts but watched and learnt from Mab.  Recalling his time he had spent with the other Queen and how she conducted herself.  He could not turn back now.  The path he had tried to avoid was the only path open to him.

Even, only a handful of creatures from the Animal realm would do such a thing.  They are mostly low end aquatic creatures anyway.
The only real creatures that do are the fabled depraved creatures from the Chaos realms I read about in books.

Rosewood stood composed.  However inside he is thinking.  What are you doing, What are you doing Rosewood.  Why did you go and say that.  Your going to get yourself into more trouble now.  You want the Winter Queen to forget about you.  Not bring attention to yourself.

With quick thinking Rosewood answers.
Queen Mab.  Before I answer your question about myself I have a question about your punishment.  It is not so much for me but for Anita Drake.  To give her the ability to explain to the guild what has happened.  Would you summarize what abilities and privileges Maudwyn as lost.  So they understand justice has been done.
Please.  Or may be you could ask Maudwyn to tell Anita Drake in front of the winter court what she as lost.  If you feel that is appropriate?

With that last suggestion even if Mab decided it was not appropriate Rosewood showed he had teeth and was willing to use them.  What could be more humiliating than having to tell the whole winter court what you lost by your actions to the very creatures you where trying to kill.

I am not going to say what you should do one way or another but which ever you do will have consequences I think.  I think Anita Drake and Rosewood will see your actions in totally different lights.

So you may be damned if you do and damned if you don't.

The gargoyle scowls at the unconscious elf, rather wanting to finish her off but feeling that it would be unsportsmanlike. He considers a moment, then brightens up. "We go 'gain later. Not stoop to 'er level." He drops to the ground and goes for a high five with the 'oomans.

Assuming that this is considered winning, ready to continue.

Re: In Faerie

You wished to know my dreams when we first talked.  I told you of my dream.  I was happy to tell you in open and honest way as if your where a friend.
I would ask that you allow me to create my dream in peace.  That The Winter court will not interfere with my creation of my pocket autumn court.  The Fay court of the council of the Vampire Fairy's.

Well Rosewood had done it now.  He openly said what he has become and what he was going to do in front of the whole of the winter court.  No turning back now.
To allow me to create it with my own will and effort so it has strength and value in it's own right.  That it is truly independent.  Not a puppet or a vassal of the Winter Court.  I would like to be allowed to succeed or fail by my own hands.  However I would ask that you would be willing to recognize my pocket Fay Court should I succeed.  I would wish the Winter Court and my Autumn Court to be at peace with each other.  Fairy's of your court would be most welcome to visit as would others.  To enjoy the peace and safety I hope it will offer all that visit.  Maybe read the books in the library I hope to create.  All I ask is everybody respect the rules of my court.
It is not that I do not appreciate any offer of protection of being part of the winter court you would give me and my pocket realm.  But you more than anybody knows that the strength of any realm is based on the strength and integrity of it's rulers and their actions.  This peace of wisdom I have learnt from watching you today.
Will the Queen of fay dreams allow this little fairy to pursue his dream please.

OOC:
If need be I have 5 exp which I can spend on Reputation or Status for Rosewood to be allowed to do this in her eyes and the eyes of here court.  However I am hoping his fine words, subtle praise and having helped route out someone in her court that had disobeyed her will be enough :)
As for how Rosewood goes about making a pocket autumn court.  He and me have no idea.  It may not be possible but he going to try.

Rosewood looks over to Ambrosia Nocturne.
Thank you for your information.  I appreciate it.  As for inventing the wheel.  Only a fool or a genus can come up with something new.  The former I try not to be and the latter I will never be.  Dreams are dreams and they may never come true but I have been force to try to obtain mine.  Now I have decide to embrace my fate instead of hind from in.  I do not expect I am the first or will be last fairy to do so.

He turns back to mab.

Thanks you for listening to me and sorting out the problems with the Winter Court and the guild.  Thank you for your kind offer to join your court.  I hope you will enjoy watching as I try to create my dreams for myself.  As you are the Queen of dream and I sure you had a large hand it them already.

The little fairy for once bow in respect to Queen Mab.  Then waits for her to dismiss him.  Hoping he not upset her to much by wishing to be independent of her.

Rosewood shakes his head.
I am not pledging myself to the Autumn court.  I will serve no court or ruler.  That was why I asked what I did.

He then move back allowing the others to talk to the Queen.  Clearly she did not understand what he had in mind and he decided it was pointless and most likely dangerous to try to explain it to her.  Maybe Ambrosia Nocturne was wrong.  Maybe Rosewood was inventing something new or creating something that been long forgotten.

Rosewood bows a last time and turned to leave.
All in all it had work out better than he had hoped.  The situation with the guild was then main point of coming to the winter court.  That had been resolved.
As for joining the winter court and his own dreams.  Time will tell.

Re: In Faerie

Rosewood flys over and ask if he may land on Anita Drake shoulder.

The Winter Court is far more dark and brutal than the summer court.  But in her way The Queen is fair and has no wish to be at war with mortals.  They are but passing flowers in a field to her and her kind.  As is my race to them.  That is why I will not join them.

He turns back.

I think she may have known what Maudwyn was up to all along.  It was however up to someone to put the case before her before she could act.  Once the case was put forward Maudwyn would be put in her place.  Her presents at court now remind all what happens if you cross The Queen.

Rosewood face looks dark.  The dark fairy dust flames up in his eyes.  He turns back to Anita.
What worries me more is her not understanding the path I am now on.  Either she really does not understand my dreams, she does not think they are possible or she has some plan on the effect of what happening to me.
Anita Drake, it may not seem much to one as you but I can tell you now.  This incident has make my pixie dust more deadly.  It can hurt others more.  If it grows further then I can convert the life of anything I kill to extend my own.  Do you still wish to work with such a creature?
