having stepped on the carpet and followed the adept, Haveron's beard and hair is considerably longer and has a few gray strands. He steps off as the adept opens the right hand door.


within the darkened room, you can make out an inlay of some kind in the floor.

the darkness in the room seems unnatural, but there is a vry dim flicker of metal inlaid in the floor in what seems to be a circular shape with odd bits of detailing.

"Is that circle a magical thing?" Aealia asks. "I remember a story about something like that being supposed to keep something contained. Or perhaps out. but it might have been just an unfounded story."

The Adept stops and looks, then chants something softly  while moving around a little.

as you open the last door, there is a strong draft from behind you...

withon the room  you see what was a circle of salt being blown aside ...

there is a deep throaty chuckle and a strong smell of sulphur, hot metal, and sour milk...
