"Reckless endangerment and frivolity in the field, of expedition leadership."
"We had sound tactics agreed upon, and Master Broderick, being up in his feelings, decided to change them,
which led to serious injury. Mine, namely. There's creatures lurking that were created by
wights very near where Ashbury is setting up shop."

Re: Guild offices take two.

After a pleasant meal with Clair followed by a relaxing redpite Broderic left her, Carruthers and Phylicity to their own enjoyment and made his way to the common room. Pausing at Aemons booth to catch up with him, and learn of any recent additions to the Guild or events that have taken place. ooc if informed of the allegations made against him by other members he refutes these, point by point, providing his associate with realistic and accurate facts of the disagreement.

In reply to Broderick Leibert (msg # 286):

"Ahl Take that unna advisement. It is a serious thing ta accuse a ranking guild member of misconduct, but ah,ll take ta complaint down. This inna ta first time ah'm ahearin o bewighted things below. takes silver ta knock em down proper."

When Broderick approaches, Aemon squints."You know Maister Leibert, that ah am required ta keep a record of all complaints. What hae ye got ta say for yesel?"

OCC: Reaction rolls are modded with the difference in guild rank, and reputation.  The difference in rank has already been accounted for, and I am keeping track of the results. interactions with NPC, unless stated otherwise, must be played out, and rolls made where needed. The basis of a reaction roll is the role play of the interaction. Ie: you cannot say " I make a complaint and go on my way" if you want there to be an effect.

Re: Guild offices take two.

Fulfilling the roll of facilitator, we undertook to form a consortium of Guild Members, each with a voice in decision making and outcomes. At no time was there any mention of group Leadership. Thus any allegation of failing in a Leadership capacity is moot.

Our exploration of a portion of the underground complex was progressing well when we reached a point where our scout had run into some considerable difficulty and was beating a hasty withdrawal. We were in the process of discussing Tactics, one proposal was suggested but had not been affirmed; when a specific member of the team chose to vary this proposed positioning without discussion. Thereby placing the group with a Fait accompli. I commented about this, action and the individual in question became maliciously disrespectful and slanderous.  This unwarranted belligerence combined with previously observed instances of internal struggle raised a degree of uncertainty regrading the fellows mental acuity  For which I perceived additional threat towards others in the group, notably my Dear Wife Clair. To ensure she would be protected from this person's or his magical weapon perceived threat I directed our family Guard to reposition himself protectively in front of her. I then stood facing Master Grimaldy, thus positioned to flank any threat that would issue forth from the passage; whilst Master Sederic with his Ego Blade stood facing the passage in his Fait accompli position. During the resulting clash with the Giant Undead Rodent, Master Grimaldy  was injured and forced to withdraw from his position to be attended by Clair. Once the foul Creature had been felled, Massers Grimaldy and Sederic chose to abandon the groups endeavour and leave the rest of the team in relatively untenable position. Those who remained chose to return to the Guild to acquire healing for Master Mercer who had been both injured and Poisoned by the Undead Creature.

"In regards to Broderick's orders, I silently complied. I do not know why it wasn't good enough. I admit that Miekka had grown tired of him and his entourage, but I maintain control over him and would have allowed no harm to come to him or his partners. Even after the fact, the man continues to throw insults my way, and I find it quite bothersome."

Sederic crosses his arms and looks at Broderick, disgust evident on his face.
"I had figured my apology would have put an end to the insults,
but it appears I was wrong."

"Monsieur Mercer and myself were the ones injured, Sirrah. Sederic was unscathed..."
Grimaldi raised a brow as the man's credibility was obviously faltering, because he couldn't keep his facts straight.

ooc Grimaldi's allegations, against Broderic were made without his presence; thus his refutation of them was not made in your presence. Thank you for the clarification.

Only Aemons was present at this.

OOC: it seems you're back on attempting to dictate things that are beyond your authority. So, are you saying that I or Aemon just walked away, before you joined the meeting? lolll

In reply to Grimaldi (msg # 292):

Ooc My posts indicicate a degree of time had passed since the team had returned to the guild. Overseeing Dolpho's treatment, dining with Clair, drafting documents, unwinding etc. Thus when he visited Aemon it was reasonable to assume neither of you were present.

Also note Broderic was willing to let the incident pass, however you two chose to continue along this tact.

Ooc
There was evidence on my end that upwards of an hour, possibly two had passed before Broderick had met with Aemon. Not entirely that those posts were made in character, which I am afraid will have to be the case from this point forward; plans made in pm are unknown to those not addressed.

Aemon takes down Broderick's complaint, right under the other one.
"Sounds like ye need ta hae leadership an direction codified en a contract wi tae next group ye travel with, Maister Leibert. A fair scurrilous lot our members be, best hae a written compact."

That is so true Master Aemon. It was a interesting exercise seeing how different members behave when afforded a degree of equality. I'll get a standard contract drafted up affor any other aggrements are entered into.

Grimaldi returned to his table, and leaned back and folded his arms. (carefully)
His shadowed face displaying a frown, as he surveyed the hall.
"Well, back to the drawing board.."
He began to gather energy, expended from his spells.

Grimaldi and Sederic seem to be getting drunk with Vilgar the Ogrekin.

Make several rolls: Area knowledge guild (x4) to determine what you know about a table that looks to have a duelist, a thief, a mendicant friar and a sorcerous looking woman.

If you are seeking out types you have adventured with before, you may have to get a crier to look for them and otherwise advertise; this will take half an hour to get a quick ford out, and about $20, and I will roll for their appearance/availability. if you are willing to pay $60 you can get more done for a day, by hiring Lucian the Crier.

In reply to Broderick Leibert (msg # 303):

The four in front of you are
Gaspard, a duelist of sorts, good with a rapier, and wearing light armor
Margaux le Manifique, who is some grade of magician, who always seems to be reading cards,
Timeon, a stealthy sort you vaguely recall checking in a shortsword and a crossbow, and
  Frer Noe, a simple friar.

None have any particularly notable histories with the guild, and none have been on any groups your associates have been involved with.

Margaux, without looping up finishes laying a card on the array she has on the table.

"Three of Pentacles. a meeting where craft is practised. King of Pentacles, a leader, gifted financially. Five of swords, a stealthy expedition. Two of pentacles, a proposition."
She looks up at you and your golden badge.
