The remains should be safe to the touch, although the quills may be still poisonous. The dust of a wight is worth about $100 to a necromancer or to an Alchemist.
Dolpho has an injury to his arm, which is swollen. He looks pale and is sweating.

Sederic relays the information about the creatures remains to the group.
"We can attempt to sell the dust to a necromancer and split it, but if nobody minds, I would like to keep the quills for myself. I think they'd make lovely arrowheads."
He looks down the way the beast came, keeping watch in case more decide to show.

Without Grimaldi, your group may have to find another method to get Crusher up the ladder.

Dolpho has a swollen arm, and may have finished the run of poison.

OOC: yeah, i just took 5 damage to my arm, Dolpho's arm is fucked up. I'll mention you guys to Ashbury, on my way out and bring help.
Grimaldi goes and gets help, explaining they were wounded, and what they had killed.

"It's surely going to be hell getting Smasher up there now. Mayhaps you can convince the kobolds at work up there to help, they are the industrious lot. With Grimaldi leaving, though, I too shall head out."
 

With no objections about the looy, he gathers the remains and quills carefully and places them in his pouch. He nods a farewell to the others and heads up the ladder after Grimaldi and makes his way back to the guild hall.

Seeing those two have quit; its best we return to the Guild. To get you fixed up and find some more suitable adventures. Carruthers can you help Master Dolpho up the ladder. I'll stay until everyone is up. he instructs then moves over to Clair and whispers to her.

Sederic makes his way back to the hall, and upon arrival flashes his badge instead of checking his weapons. He finds a seat and sits down, breathing a sigh of relief to be back home. He looks around for Grimaldi as he requests a glass from the serving girl.

Grimaldi comes in nursing a bandaged arm, and checks his weapon with Aemon. He spots Sederic, and joins him at his table. "Well, that went badly. I won't work with him again."
Grimaldi frowned under his hood.
"I think we should mention this to the guild's magistrate office. The man doesn't belong in the field. His frivolity, is going to get somebody killed."

Reaching the guild Brodrick ensures Clair, Phylicity, Carruthers and Smasher head back to their chamber. He sees to Dolpho's healing and treatment vs the poison.

Sederic nods a thanksnto the serving girl for bringing him a pitcher and cups and conjures water into it, offering Grimaldi some. He takes a long drink and sits back, finally relaxing.

Grimaldi produces the apple and cheese had took earlier, and cuts the cheese into two 2 oz pieces, and cuts the apple in half, taking his half. He fills his cup with the magically produced water, with a nod.
"Well, I need some work, but I wont work under that sort of "leadership". I am curious about what lies beyond the point we'd ventured...I do hope they locked up after themselves.."

For those who passed through the area: the cobolds had laid loose planking over the rubble filled trench, added bars to the doors exiting from the large area, and did a so-so job of whitewashing it. They were in the middle of setting up shelves against the wall opposite the gate, and had been bringing barrels down as well.  The plastering in the small room with the lift is done, and it has been whitewashed as well. Upstairs, cheap benches and tables have been brought in, although a fair amount of space has been lost to the winch setup. The walls here are being whitewashed as well.


 Ack at the guild, Broderick and his supportershave written or dictated reports, although Dolpho's is fairly neutral, as he was off scouting during the exchange of words.

Who are Grimaldi and Sederic reporting to?

Finishing his nuncheons, Grimaldi headed over to Aemon, whom he'd always liked.
"Hello, Aemon.
Say, I've never had issues before, but who does a fellow go see about reporting grievances and bad leadership, on expedtions and what not?"
Grimaldi clutched his wounded and bandaged arm, for effect.
