IC: "Travelers" (TV show) game using ORE system

Hello Friends

TLDR: Is there interest in me running a game using the One Roll Engine with the setting of the Canadian Science Fiction television show "Travelers"?

LONG FORM: It is a show about people from the future trying to prevent the apocalypse by time traveling. But the catch is they can only transfer their consciousness into the body of a person from the 21st century. They have to take over that person's life, accomplish their mission, and not be discovered. More information on Netflix, the US host of the show (https://www.netflix.com/title/80105699) as well as some discussion of some of the complications and ethics of how that might work out (https://io9.gizmodo.com/netfli...sed-up-ti-1791131050)

I've been wanting to try the One Roll Engine (ORE) system for a while, but it is older and somewhat fallen out of the limelight. My main interest is in seeing if the promise of quick but detailed play is suited for an online venue like RPOL. There is a free version of the game, Nemesis, (http://www.arcdream.com/pdf/Nemesis.pdf) which is tailored for Unknown Armies/X-Files/Delta Green/Fringe types of campaigns.

Since my main interest is in the system, I have been wracking my brain trying to come up with a setting. I realized that Travelers might be a good fit, and is on demand now so it is in people's awareness. Also I really like the show, and think about it and the setting a lot anyway.

Any interest in that? Or in ORE with another setting?

Love the show, and would like to see how it plays out. Any plans whether it will ve a cell somewhere in the world and being impacted by show's events, or an alternative timeline?

System wise, I wouldn't mind looking into ORE and don't have any alternatives to offer.

I sort of thought to have the first mission take place during Season One's timeline, so no worries yet about the Faction or Shelter 41. Also, I was going to keep the cell in Washington State, because it is the setting for the show. Also because I live there, so can easily write about locations, etc.

With the speed of games on RPOL, it would probably be quite a while before even the first mission is complete, and we can take it from there.

I don't think I would want the team in our game to have too much contact with MacLaren's team. We need to be the stars of our own show, as far as I am concerned.

After vegging that show over three days, I was dead-set on a Conspiracy X (2nd edition) system for it. I recommend looking into it. It has the rules for assuming real-life occupations, cell and HQ creation rules. I think it would be an excellent fit. Add skill templates for the various roles (Leader, Librarian, Medic, Engineer, Tactical) and you would be good to go.
