IC: Starfinder with Golarion

So I don't know about anyone else, but while I'm generally happy with Paizo's Pact Worlds setting for the Starfinder system, there's one exception: I personally miss the existence of Golarion, and I'm not wild about the Gap as a part of galactic history. I understand why it was done (to make the setting accessible to people that aren't familiar with Golarion), but as someone who is very familiar with Golarion, I'd like to run a game where Golarion exists. I'd likely keep galactic history roughly the same (I might still keep the gap, though I would explain exactly how long long it is, and why it happened.

I don't have a firm campaign idea yet, but I would like to run a starfinder game in which Golarion exists, if there is interest for it. I would take the next month or so (probably) to update Golarion to Starfinder and plan a campaign.

I'd be interested, more for the Starfinder part than the presence of Golarion (which I have no problem with either).

I'd be down for it.  Starfinder, in general, is going to get a heap of interest.  I don't think the presence of Golarion is going to bother anyone.  It was done entirely as a measure to divorce the two products and I doubt even the developers care too much about it.  It would be interesting to see how the various political climates work out, over the thousands of years between the two, though.

I'd be cool with it as long as it had more of a science fantasy feel than a fantasy feel. ie emphasis on the stars and space and space and aliens and not stuck exploring dungeons on Golarion.

In reply to Kelthas Dread (msg # 4):

It would have the same sort of science/fantasy feel that Starfinder is designed for!

Given what Iron Gods reveals, I'd take the [REDACTED] and have that replace [REDACTED].  That'd go a long way to explaining [REDACTED] and generally making it all work.  While you're at it, just get rid of [REDACTED] and replace it all with [REDACTED] from the [REDACTED].

If you want to make a game with a more pathfinder feel you probably also want to start in the mid level range as Starfinder has if anything lowered the comparative impact of leveling in terms of power, instead it focuses on unlocking features.
