I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in a Gamma World 1e game.  I'd be running the module Legion of Gold, I've run it a number of times, and it's my favorite.  I know GW 1e can be hard to get hold of though.  I have it and can help with questions, or run it with behind the scenes mechanics where you just say what you try to do and I'll roll and figure out results etc.

I've always wanted to play Gamma World.  Are mutant animals in Gamma World 1e?  I know they were in 4e.

It's been over 30 years since I've played 1e GW... I'm game.

You can play a humanoid (mutant human), mutant animal or pure-strain human (no mutations).  Possibly even an ambulatory plant, though those are supposed to be NPCs I like to open up those to PCs, they can be pretty fun.  I ran Mutant Future before which allows you to be robots too, I'm sure I could adapt those rules back to GW.  There are a lot of other rule changes and I found it hard to run LoG with MF.

I own the boxed set of GW 1e, and haven't played it in... forever.  Would love to play!

I got a bit busy since I asked, but it looks like there's enough interest.  I'll start up a game once I have some free time.
