So I'm writing a horror RPG, and I have decided to try to run a second playtest after the first one literally died with an actual player doing so. Don't ask "What System?" because you've never heard of it. Generally speaking, it's d10 dice pools against TNs, not successes. Don't ask if I would try any existing system you can think of. This is a PLAYTEST Interest Check.

I've seen lots of horror games where the party is a competent investigation team, or paramilitary team take on loads of zombies. This isn't going to be that. There will probably be at least one playtest involving zombies, but the game will run less like Left for Dead where it's all shoot 'em up, and more like Until Dawn where the characters are all regular people who may or may not survive. It is intended to have the lethality slanted severely against the players

I have invested considerable time writing the game, and have nearly 80 page PDF (although the player section is only around 40 pages). The PDF (and by extension, the game) will contain Adult Material, so I'll link it in the game threads themselves, not here. Do not chime in to say you are not interested (I only say that because it's something people apparently don't know not to do). You are welcome to offer constructive criticism, but not on the adult rating, or whether any system is "better" than the one I wrote. Either will be regarded as trolling. That said, who is willing to playtest a unique Adult Horror game using a unique system?

Sounds fun, though 80 pages is a significant ask. Have you considered a condensed/lite version that tells us just what we need to know? (For comparision, I too have a homebrew horror RPG that's a 10 page pdf; even that seemed like a bit much for my players/playtesters to effectively digest).

I haven't. Although it's been organized such that the first roughly half tells you what you need to know and the last half (er... pages 45-78 actually) tells GMs what they need to know. And I have playtesters for the other two games I wrote which are both bigger, so hopefully the horror mindset isn't more minimalist than those other two groups on the whole.
