IC: Lords Of Gossamer And Shadow Variant
We've just finished a three-year game of LoGaS. The game was epic in scope with the fate of the multiverse at stake.
I'm looking to do another LoGaS game, but something more street level. This would require hacking the system a bit to provide more differentiation at the normal human level, and eliminating some of the powers from PC use. There'd be heavy magic/tech item use to give PCs the edge, but the PCs wouldn't quite be the godlike figures normal LoGaS characters are.
The PCs would all be from the same world or worlds who are at the start of the game unaware of the existence of other worlds. The game would take place over a loose cluster of a handful of worlds. Exploring the Stair would not be a major emphasis of the game. Dealing with the problems of those trying to take advantage of their worlds would be.
For those not familiar with LoGaS it's a diceless game where the outcome of actions is determined by the GM (who combines the numbers on character sheets along with any situational advantages, etc to work out what happens).
The subset of people interested in LoGaS seems relatively small on RPOL; how many of those are interested in a hacked up variant of it?
