Hi all,

On another gaming site, I created a BSG game where survivors struggle to survive in the aftermath of the Cylon attack on the 12 colonies (The Reimagined series).

I'm in the process of reviving the game here. It will use the Rifts/Palladium RPG rules as I am most familiar with that system. I will be using certain elements of the reimagined series and the old 1978-79 series as well.

Would anyone have an interest in such a game? Thanks for taking time in reading this interest check!

I'm all for it, though I've never played Palladium despite the ages I've RP'd.

Would you be using the Ley Lines and Glitterboys and such or just the mechanics? It sounds like a lot of fun to me and I would be interested for sure either way.

Mainly the OCCs from Phase World (CAF officer, soldier, etc.) for the colonial officers & crew although I was thinking of robotech classes as well.

Technology will be restricted to modern arms and missiles and rail or grav guns for the capital ships.

There will be no glitter boys, juicers, ley lines or demons that is typical in Rifts.

There is a Cortex-based BSG Game that is for the re-imagined series.  If for nothing else, you might check it out for good source material.

Sounds interesting, though my experience with Palladium is dust. I think I may still have those books stashed away somewhere.

Even on the other site it was a work in progress. The classes & game mechanics of rifts was to give it structure.

Looks like a few have expressed interest in this - I'll continue to work on it and have a link in a few days time.

Sure.  I merely pointed you toward the Cortex game so that you'd have an option for good source material.

I did read your post horus & looked for said game but the cost (I just can justify paying over 45+ for a game) is just a little insane.

The link is handy though and I will peruse it in my spare time as I set up the game.

Yeah... it used to be available as a PDF for around $15 US.  I'm with ya on that price for the hardback - kray-zay.
