Rogue Trader

I'd be up for it, with the suggestions of warrant based around trade (standard or exotic), or converting planets to Imperial faith, if that gets interest.

Rogue Trader

Ayy, Retias.

I'd be up for some RT and I'd also like to see something more exotic and strange with some trading like Novo suggested. Perhaps something that caters to the possible weirdness that the Koronus Expanse has to offer.

Rogue Trader

Suggestions so far tend to cater around a trading empire and/or converting planet to the Imperial Creed. I'll take those onboard. :)

How puritan do people like their crew to be? Varying from full Emperor botherers to Cold Trading Xenophiles.

And are there are any particular Xeno races or themes that would appeal past those mentioned?

Rogue Trader

I'd throw my vote in the hat for more towards Cold Trading Xenophiles.

I am personally tempted to roll some sort of Xeno, but that really depends on the rest of the party of course.

I don't have a specific preference either way, but I do like an agreement on a general bent of the rogue trader's crew, or to have personal reasons PCs won't kick each other out the airlock over ideological differences. Emperor bothering isn't a hard stop on having someone who focuses on xenography the way it is for certain other heresies (at least, Into The Storm says as much) - provided they're doing it to better kill non-humans.

I'd prefer a human (or at least a mono-racial) crew.

Re: Rogue Trader

I'd like to play a xeno (Kroot or Dark Eldar, not ork), but am cool to adapt to the groups needs.

Also happy to be subjected to racial abuse if playing dark eldar ;)

Trade and exploration are my preferred themes, piracy tends towards murder hobos in space unless crafted very well...

Re: Rogue Trader

I'll give it a little time to see if anyone else expresses interest, before responding to all your thoughts. :)

Re: Rogue Trader

Is everyone happy with a mix of trade and exploration then, shaped slightly towards the Cold trade side of things?

As a note, I'm likely to introduce the Tau as a faction to encounter and deal with, however you see fit to.

And are you all happy to play a human crew, with the possibility of Xeno PCs in the future?

I'm not a huge fan of Xeno crew, but neither am I overly upset if they are included.

I'd be in favour of a Cold Trade focused game.

Re: Rogue Trader

You will always find more than enough people interested in a RT game since they can go all sorts of ways :)

Always interested and finally back in a place to play seriously again.
