You have found an interested gamer, Airellian. I think it was during an episode of the Ken and Rob Talk About Stuff podcast that I heard about Bubblegumshoe. I thought it seemed like a fun premise, but I doubted that I would ever find another gamer interested in playing it, so I soon forgot about it. I have a copy of Trail of Cthulhu somewhere which includes the Gumshoe system.

I might miss any followups to this thread as I don't check the Game Proposals board every time I visit RPOL. If you do decide we're playing this, please send me an rMail.

Have you seen the movie Brick with Joseph Gordon-Levitt?

In reply to Gaffer (msg # 4):

I have not, but I will be sure to check it out.

I'm also leaning towards using Bubblegumshoe to resolve the procedural scenes and utilising DramaSystem (from Hillfolk) to resolve dramatic scenes. Maybe, maybe not, but I'm wanting to try it ever since I got my hands on Hillfolk. If you're curious about DramaSystem, the SRD is available from Pelgrane Press.

Actually, never mind about the DramaSystem. If I run this game, it will be Bubblegumshoe only.
