I'm having some fun with Sentinels of Echo City, a B/X style supers game and was wondering if anyone else was up for some randomly rolled up characters?

If you don't have it (why don't you? It's only $5!) I can walk you through character creation (and, actually, that might be better given the campaign concept I have in mind).

The campaign idea is teenage supers (high school, ages 14-18) who all receive their powers and abilities through a common "white event."  This would happen in a world devoid of superpowers (but that would quickly change).  Certain powers/concepts would be off the table (re-rolled) due to the campaign model.

It's more or less Smallville (and I would want to emphasize equal parts drama and superheroics), and given the ages involved, make this a Mature game and only for reasons of language.  Whether you create a team or not will be up to the players.  There's a lot of latitude for players to keep their powers on the DL or to go public, though I think a secret ID would be a good idea, lest you get vivisected in Area 51....  All people with powers can detect one another as a general conceit of the game (just to make things more interesting).

Hmm, it definitely sounds intriguing. Randomly rolled up powers are always fun.

I'm just finishing the board, but you can submit a character now.  You'll start by submitting your normal HS student (no one has powers to start).
