Esoterrorists is a GUMSHOE setting where the players are investigators working for a secret society opposed to evil occult conspiracies and general nastiness.

Gumshoe is a RPG focused on investigations, specifically negating the chokepoints related to players missing certain vital clues.

It's a pretty simple system, and Esoterrorists is a pretty cool setting.

I'd be looking for 4-6 characters recently recruited to the secret society. Some might be from law enforcement or intelligence agency backgrounds, others might be journalists, academics, or even criminals - anyone with the skills to investigate these things, really.

Give a shout out if you're interested. Foreknowledge of the setting or system is unnecessary. We'll probably start with some canned investigative scenarios to get used to the system first.

I would not be opposed to this. Depending on the game info as it goes up, I would play that. I've always been interested in Lovecraftian horror, so if its anything like that, I'll probably be in.

I'd be interested, as long as minimal Gumshoe knowledge is okay.

That thing. Yeah. That's the job. Travel all over the world, hunting monsters. Well, no... more like hunting the people who want to summon the monsters.

Like what? Men in Black? I dunno, I never saw that one. But no. The reason why I'm telling you is that we keep an eye out for people like you. People who run into this kind of thing and keep their cool. People with the skills we value.
