Testing curiosity for a sci-fi FATE game. I'm thinking Nova Praxis, Mass Effect, or Custom, depending on on player feedback.

No real plans for a story at the moment, I'd like to start with some blanket statements and questions to and from the group to build a collaborative story. Most likely it would cover the tropes of sci-fi: Space battles, adventures (both in space and on planet), a bit of intrigue, and more than a few fights.

Post your setting ideas. If the vote is for a custom setting then FAE could also be used.

Uumm, setting wise I'm really good with anything and everything. Even custom works for me.

Don't know Mass Effect, but would love to get into a Nova Praxis game.

I'm interested. I don't know Nova Praxis and Mass Effect doesn't impress me much. I guess I'd say that Halo is my main SF kick right now, but Halo where it's a little more grounded in humanity's struggle against aliens and itself, with some mysterious Forerunner MacGuffins, but not to the point that the human story is lost.

So three is an ok number of players for me.  Now comes the decision:

(a) Nova Praxis
(b) Halo
(c) Something completely different

I'm good with all of those so if we get 2/3 then I'll write a pitch and set up a game.

I'd be interested in Nova Praxis, campaign depending.

The only one I know is halo, but honestly good with whatever so I'll make a decision if a tie breaker is needed but otherwise I'm neutral here.
