IC: PA Game

Been thinking about running a PA game... Call it "Land of the Lost". You're a character from somewhere that was somehow transported to a nasty, desolate world. This world is a dumping ground for stuff all across the multiverse. You've banded together with a group of like-minded sentients and have to move from place to place scrounging supplies. Nothing can grow here and there's no meaningful natural resources, so it's a nomadic existence searching for resources dumped here much the same way you were. Definitely going for a gamma world feel.

Of course, you'll be pursued by the evil minions of whoever.  So kind of a battlestar galactica thing there too.

Been thinking about basing characters on 80's franchises - Transformers, GI Joes, Care Bears, etc. just to give players some kind of basis for selecting what they are. That's not entirely necessary though.

Torn on system. Been strongly considering Dungeon Planet. Maybe Cartoon Action Hour, especially if the 80s angle. MAYBE Cortex, but would have to do something to speed up the turn sequence.

Any interest?

Have never heard of it, but after a quick wiki consult, yes, there are definitely similarities.
