I'm thinking of running a scion game but instead of playing the children of the Gods, players would play the literal God. Restricting it down to one pantheon, most likely Greek. The players play regular people who wake up one day to realize that they are in fact Gods. Something happened, they can't go home so they need to figure it out and why they aren't as powerful as they should be.

I don't suppose I could talk you into the Aesir instead?

Well the Norse was the focus of the show and it could be considered

I've never watched the show but I do prefer the Aesir. I can work with the Greek though.

Well I know far more about the Greek Pantheon than I do the Norse.

I kind of like the idea of doing it with the Greek Pantheon, myself.  Or, possibly, with the Egyptians, but that's less-so.

While I've not really had great times with Scion, I would certainly give it a try.

That's fair enough! I know more about the Aesir but also a fair chunk about the Greek.

Could be fun, have you considered making it multipantheoned?  There are only a couple of greek gods that are interesting.

As mentioned elsewhere, I've played all of -one- Scion game, so I'm not that conversant with the rules, but I love the theme and ideas, so put me down as interested!

I have considered it making it multipantheon but honestly it just becomes a headache then.

How deep into the mythology are you getting?  Because there are a metric crapton of Greek gods.

Sorry there are only two in the pantheon presented in the Scion game system that I like and I believe they made my favorite Greek god a titan in this system.

Okay maybe it has been a while because I thought I recalled Hecate being a God I. The book. I'd consider her one.
